Early in the American session, the Euro is trading around 1.0841 and around the 21 SMA, bouncing after having reached the low of 1.0798 yesterday during the American session.

EUR/USD could continue to rise in the next few hours if it consolidates above 1.0841. The instrument could reach 1/8 Murray at 1.0865 and climb to the 200 EMA located at 1.0895. Finally, EUR/USD could reach the top of the bearish trend channel around 1.0905, forming since January 10.

Given that the eagle indicator is giving a positive signal, we expect that the euro could continue to rise in the coming hours. In case the euro falls below 1.0841, we could expect it to consolidate around 1.0820, which could give us an opportunity to resume buying.

The euro needs to cover the GAP that it left around 1.0854. In the next few hours, it is likely to continue to rise until it is covered. If bullish strength prevails and breaks above 1/8 Murray (1.0865), the euro could extend its rise. Otherwise, we could expect a technical correction and the euro could return to levels of 1.0820 and could even fall towards 0/8 Murray located at 1.0742.
